Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity
The Finance & Treasury Risk Analyst (“F&TRA”) is a second line role reporting directly to the Head of Treasury Risk. This is a key role assisting with appropriate second line oversight across all Finance & Treasury Risks, with a particular focus on operational risk, control, compliance and conduct oversight. The role helps provide second-line support to the Head of Treasury Risk.

What will your day look like?
You will report into the Head of Treasury Risk, who will be your line manager and responsible for things like performance review meetings, 1-1s and development conversations.
The role of F&TRA is really important to us. You will be responsible for:
Treasury & Market Risk
- Assisting in effective second line oversight across all Finance & Treasury related activity/risks.
- Overseeing Finance & Treasury related regulatory reporting – ensuring accurate identification, use and interpretation of reports.
- Updating or inputting into Finance & Treasury policies where required and aligning to FR Group processes where appropriate.
- Assisting in oversight of Finance & Treasury risk modelling in accordance with governance.
- Assisting the Finance & Treasury Manager and the Head of Treasury Risk with oversight of operational & conduct issues such as settlement and reporting of treasury transactions, compliance with regulation, reconciliations and bank account management.
What do we expect from you?
- A business, finance, financial risk and/or banking degree
- Appreciation for controls, processes, policies and change management
- Experience using typical Microsoft products, and other data products desirable
- Knowledge of the dynamics of financial markets, risk management techniques, and financial instruments / derivatives.
